Post-jam updates!
A couple updates have gone up since the Jam deadline that focus on fixing crashes, adding quality-of-life features and (honestly, for the most part) rebalancing! Time was getting really tight toward the end so we ended up submitting it before we could get pretty much any testing done so Montersmith ended up with a few broken interactions and some very unbalanced encounters. I'm really happy with the final product though! I think these changes bring the game much closer to what we envisioned. Hope you enjoy :)
Changelog
- Final boss was made fairer
- Most of the harder enemies were made weaker
- Buffed exploding skulls, daggers, regular sword and upgraded staff
- Added new encounters and remixed a couple of the old ones
- You can now press ESC to go back to menu
- Player will slowly start taking damage after running out of cards. This prevents infinites!
- Actions will play faster the more actions there are
- You can now discard more cards per turn
- Various bug fixes
- Added icons for regular version of weapons
